There is a supernatural connection between wealth and purpose.  When the two are married, it opens the door for God’s awesome power and anointing to bring great financial increase into your life.


In order to be wealthy in the Kingdom of God and be fully satisfied, believers must operate in their purpose.  God foreordained and predestined who we would be and our path in life.  This path is where our anointing is.  This is where our glory is.  This is where the fullness of joy is.  It means accomplishing the purpose of your life, which is being in the perfect will of God.  


Ephesians 2:10
10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.


Operating in the perfect will of God is operating in His presence all the time.  The psalmist said: 
Psalm 16:11
11You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.




The reason why Jesus said the path is narrow is because the way is fixed. Your purpose and destiny are pre-established; you are created with the ability to become wealthy through knowing your purpose and executing it to the fullest.


Purpose is realized through the gift of work.  Work glorifies God, which is why scripture says to work is a gift from the lord.


Ecclesiastes 5:19 
19As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.




Business is the repository of wealth When a believer ask where is the wealth stored up? - the primary answer is in business.  Major transfers will take place through business dealings.  Every Dollar, yen, euro, drachma, shekel, lira, franc and every other currency on earth is generated through the world of business.  


The greatest seed you will ever sow is yourself.  When you sow yourself into your God-given gift of Work, you re certainty reap financial rewards and transfer wealth to yourself.  The Word of God says that God will bless the work of your hands if you obey His commandments.


Deutoronomy 28:12
The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.


Many times people don’t succeed financially because they do not know their purpose.  They chase fantasies or “get-rich-quick” schemes.  A “good deal” here or some “quick money” there has taken down many a Christian who succeeded at operating unbiblically and took a fall.


Proverbs 12:11
11He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread,
But he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding.


Proverbs 28:19
19He who tills his land will have plenty of bread,
But he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough!


Many Christians do not know their God Given Purpose or Calling.  Pray, seek, ask , knock and learn your purpose from the Holy Spirit and go to the wealthy place.

1. Maintaining Righteousness, Morality, and Integrity

The Bible has a lot to say about moral behavior and how it affects the Christian financially.  It commands us to absolutely avoid wickedness such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, perversion, lying, stealing, cheating, substance abuse, etc. The consequences of ungodly behavior are death, destruction and financial ruin.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10

However, when Christians decide to walk in righteousness, holiness, and integrity in their financial dealings, they invite God to actively participate in their finances; thereby, positively affecting their financial situations
Ecclesiastes 2:26

2. Understanding and operating in God's ordained purpose for your life

There is a supernatural connection between wealth and a person operating in their God-ordained purpose. God foreordained and predestinated who we would be and our path in life. This path contains God's greatest anointing for your life and allows you to accomplish God's will for your life.
Ephesians 2:10

Moreover, the Christian that knows and operates in their purpose will be a blessing to others, have their individual needs met, and walk in God's financial best for their life.

3. Developing excellence and the high level of quality in your work output

Christians that develop and operate in excellence in their workplace set up the spiritual and natural environment to attract money and finances to themselves.

Therefore, operating in excellence in the workplace increases the potential of dominating money for the Kingdom of God.

Almost everyone wants to be wealthy, but it seems those who are wealthy are often criticized. Is wealth good or evil? What does the Bible say?

Think of what comes to mind when you hear these names and words: Donald Trump (no judging), Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Oprah Winfrey, Sam Walton, the 1 percent, celebrities, loaded, millionaire, nouveau riche, poor character, old money, moneybags, top dollar, multimillionaire, job creators, etc.

Did you make negative or positive associations? Either way, you did make some kind of association, because that’s how the brain works. The common theme was “wealthy” or “rich.” How wealth is defined often differs, based on people’s perspectives and backgrounds. But essentially we all agree that it means having a lot of money.

Matthew 19:23-24 says the following: “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’”

Jesus Christ’s statement brings up a very interesting question: Will those who are rich enter the Kingdom of God? Let’s tackle this by asking some questions. 

What’s so good about being wealthy?Imagine a toddler being given a brand-new toy by his father—and the father’s feelings as he watches his child enjoy the toy and even share it with others. Now apply that to today. There are many examples of the wealthy being giving and charitable. Many wealthy people take care of their families and employees, give to charity and obviously enjoy their wealth themselves (Ecclesiastes 5:18).

Deuteronomy 8:18 says: “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Some wealth is the result of God’s blessing and should be used to help provide for others. So, if wealth is a blessing from God and is owned by the generous, it is not a bad thing.

What’s so bad about being wealthy? Think about that same little child saying, “Mine!” Unfortunately, this seems to be the approach of many who hold vast wealth. They don’t recognize it as a gift of God. They hoard it to themselves—making it their god. 

The Bible refers to this in 1 Timothy 6:10: “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” Then, verse 17 continues: “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.”

This is a very explicit warning about wealth that must be heeded. It also describes a responsibility that goes wholeheartedly against the idea of “I can do whatever Iwant with my money.” If this is the attitude we have, our wealth is not a good thing. It can actually be destructive to our character.

Will a rich man enter the Kingdom of God?So, can a rich person enter God’s Kingdom? The answer is—it depends.

Whether we are rich or poor, our entrance into the Kingdom depends on our building personal, godly character. A wealthy person can develop godly character, but there are many pitfalls in his or her path. Wealthy people who are totally entrenched in this physical life, caring only about themselves and their possessions and wealth, are not headed to the Kingdom! If wealthy people are growing closer to God and using their wealth for godly purposes, they are headed to the Kingdom!

Wealth can be either a deceptive snare or a tool to provide for ourselves and help others. It can be an idol or it can be a blessing to be enjoyed and shared.

God's Purpose For Wealth
Money is not the root of all evil, it's the love of money that God despises. Here are five ways God actually uses wealth to advance His Kingdom 


“Breaks the spirit of generational poverty.”
The poverty mindset is a sharp foe to the blessing of wealth. God uses wealth to break this mindset and release the Kingdom-mindset of prosperity and abundance.


“Finances the spreading of The Gospel.”
God uses wealth to spread The Gospel to all the world. This can be accomplished through sponsoring missionaries or starting an online publication to share the truth of God's Word.


“Demonstrates the pre-eminence of His Way.”
The Kingdom of God simply put is God’s way of doing things. In the world wealth carries influence. God is going to get the world’s attention by transferring wealth to push forward His agenda. Proverbs 13:22 says, "The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous." A God-shaped life will be trusted to steward Kingdom prosperity.


“Extend Light to dark territories.”
These are those mountains that the enemy has been operating in through much deception. They include: Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts & Entertainment and Business. Wealth will be used to change the value system governing these structures.


“Social transformation.”
God is concerned with saving souls but equally important are the systems controlling cities and nations that govern the lives of people. God’s transfer of wealth will transition to those systems that follow the Kingdom-model which gives humanity the highest form of value and worth.
